...LEADERSHIP SEEKS POLICE PARTNERSHIP TO CURB CRIMES
The Ex-agiators Ogbia Local Government Forum says it will partner the Nigeria Police Force to protect lives and property, maintain public order and detect crime across communities in Bayelsa State.
The Chairman of the Forum, General Joshua Iruo made this statement at Onuebum shortly after he was inaugurated along seven others as the new executive of the Ex-agiators forum.
Iruo in his inaugural speech also promised that his administration will embark on a sensitization tour for youths to shun violence, support community leaders to promote peace and development programmes.
Commending Dr. Dennis Otuaro’s robust reforms on shifting the initiative from temporary stipends to sustainable human capital development with a primary focus on expanding formal education, technical skills, and long-term peacebuilding for the Niger Delta region, the Ogbia Local Government Ex- agitators forum expressed optimism that tenure of the Presidential Amnesty programme Coordinator will records more sustainable progress in the future.
Other executives of the forum who received their certificates of return in Unuebum include ; Vice Chairman, Mr. Johnson Solomon, Mr. Bestman Walson secretary, Mr. Godwin Awangala assistant secretary.
Others are Mr. Wilson Omilo Spokesman, Mr. Mascaras Omilo treasurer, Prince Stephen financial secretary and Mr. Odisi Oweifa welfare officer .
The election of the Ogbia Council Area Ex- agiators forum was held on July 13th, 2026 .
