Mamelodi Sundowns send Kaketso Majadibodu to AmaTuks
Mamelodi Sundowns have announced Kaketso Majadibodu’s loan deal to GladAfrica Championship side and neighbours AmaTuks.
Mamelodi Sundowns have announced Kaketso Majadibodu‘s loan deal to GladAfrica Championship side and neighbours AmaTuks.
According to the Brazilians, Majadibodu will spend the remainder of the season at AmaTuks.
Sundowns released the following statement on transfer deadline day:
“Mamelodi Sundowns have reached a loan agreement with GladAfrica Championship side University of Pretoria for the service of Majadibodu. The move to AmaTuks will be for the remainder of the season,” reads the statement.
Majadibodu has been with the Tshwane giants since 2017 but he spent a number of seasons out on loan.
The 26-year-old played for Mthatha Bucks and Ajax Cape Town while he was still playing for the Sundowns reserve team.
It was during Pitso Mosimane’s tenure that Majadibodu got to be promoted to the first team.
His transfer to AmaTuks doesn’t come as a major surprise as he has been struggling for game time.
Majadibodu has managed just two appearances this season – and both games amounted to just 26 minutes on the pitch.
