Udengs Eradiri sympathises with Ezetu 1 boat mishap victims, advocate safety measures for maritime transportation

I am deeply sad by this reoccurrence of avoidable boat accidents that continue to claim innocent lives on our waterways.

My heart felt sympathy goes to the families affected, the people of bayelsa state and hope that this will bring the desired attention to those in authority to do what is necessary to curb such avoidable incidence.

We need to upgrade our waterway transportation, introduce ferry vessels/water buses , enforce safety practices and train those in the entire marine sector operations.

May God almighty grant the families the fortitude to bare the loss and grant repose to the sole of the departed.
