CDS Promises Rescue Of Abducted Kaduna School children
The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Christopher Musa has assured residents of Kuriga about the safe return of schoolchildren abducted in the area.
Bandits had abducted 287 students from two schools in the area recently. But during a visit to the community on Monday, the CDS assured them of the military’s efforts to get the abductees back.

“What is happening will end soon,” the CDS said after visiting Kaduna where he also met with Governor Uba Sani. There are individuals who don’t want to see the nation develop. They are after causing rancour and mayhem.
“Their wish is that by the time the state is in rancour, nobody will want to invest in the state or the nation at large. They are working on their own evil plan, but God is on our side, and we are working tirelessly to ensure we secure the state, the country, the citizens, and most especially to free all the abducted ones,” he said.
