Bayelsa Agog as Five States Arrive Yenagoa for South South U:18 Tourney
All is now set for the South South U:18 football tournament in Yenagoa the Bayelsa State, capital from 8th to 13th of February, 2024.
The Secretary of the Central Organising Committee Mr Diseye Nwankwe in a statement, said screening of players would commenced immediately after the draws.
According to him the essence of the screening was to curtail age cheat to enable the organizers achieved the purpose of the tournament which is talent discovery.
The statement notes Rivers, Cross River, Edo, Delta and Bayelsa State have arrived Yenagoa apart Akwa Ibom who are yet to arrive as of the time of putting this report together.
Mr Nwankwe explains that Bayelsa State governor Senator Douye Diri, President of the Nigeria Football Federation NFF Ibrahim Musa Gusau, NFF Technical Committee Chairman, Augustine Eguavoen and other dignitaries are to grace the final.
