His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, has given his endorsement for the up coming 4th edition of the SDD Bayelsa Marathon, which is slated for Saturday, 10th February, 2024.
The Governor gave his endorsement this morning, during the Bayelsa State Weekly Prosperity Walk, as he called on all Bayelsans to participate fully.
The high point of the endorsement process was the presentation of a branded SDD Bayelsa Marathon 2024 jersey and face cap to His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, by members of the Organizing Committee.
Dignitaries present were, Hon. Champion Daniel Igali, Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Rt. Hon. Tonye Emmanuel Isenah, fmr Speaker Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon Tari Porri, House Committee Chairman on Youth Sports, Hon. Ebizimo Brown amongst others.
