Nigeria Athletes Oghenebrume, Umukoro, Uko, others set for Corky Classic in Texas.
US-based Temitope Adeshina’s record breaking performance in the high jump event at the Corky Classic has set all eyes focussed on Godson Oghenebrume season’s debut at same venue.
The Sapele, Delta State born sprinter would be making his first appearance of the season after Last weekend’s disappointment in Louisiana State University, in the 60 meters.
The Bowerman Watch List member will compete in the 200m event where he holds an indoor personal best of 21.12 seconds and an outdoor/overall personal best of 20.72 seconds from last season’s SEC Outdoor Championships.
Also competing are Ella Onojuvwevwo for the LSU in the 200m and the 4x400m relays, Success Umukoro of Texas Tech University also in the 200m event while former Nigeria’s World U20 champion, Imaobong Nse Uko will run in Baylor University’s 4x400m relay team
