BAYELSANS SHOULD GET READY FOR PROSPERITY RELOADED – Cocodia

The Political Adviser to the Bayelsa State Governor, High Chief Collins Cocodia, has expressed gratitude to Bayelsans for their massive turn out during the November 11 governorship election, which saw his Principal, Douye Diri emerging victorious.

This is as he assured the people of the state to brace up for another phase of robust infrastructural development, completion of ongoing projects, and embarking on other areas that are critical, and would trigger a rapid growth across the entire state.

High Chief Collins Cocodia came out with this while speaking on Citizen – participatory program, Bayelsa Wenikenimimo, on Glory FM, 97.1 on Tuesday.

He stressed that the massive support of the Governor through the ballot was a testament that Bayelsans appreciate his efforts, policies and programs, and so, committed themselves to reelecting him for another four years, to continue with his vision for project Bayelsa.

In his words, “We are grateful to Bayeksans, the Governor is grateful to Bayelsans, the Deputy Governor is grateful to Bayelsans, for coming out wholeheartedly to say ‘Yes Diri’.”

“Election has come and gone, but the truth of the matter is that we are Bayelsans, and we will remain Bayelsans. As a Prosperity Government we have done our beat, and we quite happy that Bayelsans appreciate what we have done in this first four years, hence, the need for them to reaffirm the mandate of Mr Governor and Mr Deputy Governor.”

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, assured that the State Chief Executive will not take their love and support for his administration for granted, as he reiterated the Governor’s commitment to his campaign promises.

Responding to callers on the program, High Chief Cocodia stressed that the state was on the right trajectory of development, and has moved on from what it looked like several years ago, adding that Bayelsa will witness massive growth and expansion by the time the several ongoing projects littered across the state are completed in the next four years of the Prosperity Government.
