Suge Knight is surprised at the arrest of Duane ‘Keefe D’ Davis for the murder of Tupac Shakur and will not testify against the suspect, even if he’s called to do so.

Knight was in the vehicle with the rapper on the evening that he was shot dead in Las Vegas, with Knight also sustaining wounds from the drive-by.

The rapper is currently in prison serving a 28-year sentence for voluntary manslaughter and refuses to say if Davis was involved.

“I’m surprised for one because I never thought Keefe D would get arrested,” Knight said to TMZ Live from a California prison.

“Whatever the circumstances, if he had an involvement in anything, if he didn’t have any involvement in anything, I wouldn’t wish somebody going to prison on my worst enemy.”

Suge Knight won’t testify in the Tupac case

Pressed on whether he would testify if called, Knight insisted that he wouldn’t.

“One thousand percent, I wouldn’t go, I wouldn’t testify, none of that s**t,” Suge Knight stated.

What happened on September 7, 1996?

The Tupac shooting happened following Mike Tyson‘s knockout win over Bruce Seldon.

A white Cadillac pulled alongside the BMW that Tupac and Knight were riding in, with the East Harlem musician being shot in the chest four times. Shakur died six days later on September 13.

Some believe that Orlando Anderson orchestrated the murder, as he and Tupac apparently got into a fight at the MGM Grand prior to the rapper being killed.

But, in his phone call to TMZ, Knight denied that theory too.

“I never had nothing bad to say about Orlando because he wasn’t the shooter,” Knight said.
