Udu Legislative Arm Leader, Owholo, Scores Oborevwori High On ‘100 Days In Office’
The Leader of Udu Local Government Council Legislative Arm, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Owholo, has scored the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, high on his excellent performances after 100 days in office.
Owholo, a frontline Udu Local Government Council chairmanship aspirant, made this known in a statement on Wednesday, and commended the Governor for keeping to his campaign promises.
He noted that the governor didn’t betray the trust bestowed on him by the people of Delta State. “We are proud of him because in just 100 days in office, in line with the M.O.R.E Agenda, he has earmarked visible projects like the administrative building, Faculty of Agriculture building, lecture theatres, Faculty of Environment, and Vice Chancellor’s lodge in Dennis Osadebay University, Anwai-Asaba for commissioning.
“Some others include; the State High Court Complex, 16km internal roads and drainages around Madonna road area and the Okpanam-Ibusa road both in Oshimili South and Oshimili North Local Government Areas of the state.
“I also commend our Governor for the approval for payment of five billion naira promotion arrears to workers in the state; secured legislative approval for local government councils to obtain a N40 billion bank loan to enable them to liquidate their backlog of pension liabilities.
“His Excellency who also gave local government councils approval to recruit teaching and non-teaching staff to fill up existing vacancies and among others, deserved commendation”, he added.
The lawmaker, who is also the Chairman of Delta State Councillor’s Forum (DSCF), pointed out that the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has taken decisive steps to deliver on his M.O.R.E Agenda within the 100 days in office.
