River Angels have beaten Robo Queens by two goals to nil in the opening Match 2023 Nigeria women professional league super six playoff.

Chaimaka Okwuchukwu put the the Rivers-based side ahead in the first half while Adaobi Okah sealed the victory in the second stanza of the match.

In the other game of the day, Delta Queens beat Confluence Queens by three goals to one.

Ekpenyong Effiom scored twice while
Samuel Vera scored the other goal.

Peter Martha scored the consolation for Confluence Queens.
