The widest wig is 2.58 m (8 ft 6 in), achieved by Dani Reynolds (Australia) in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia, on 12 November 2022.

Dani based the wig design on their own hair colour and texture. They created a substructure out of a bike helmet, PVC pipe, pool noodles, cable ties and aluminium rods, then covered this structure with brown fabric and clip-in hair pieces. Finally, giant plastic clips were added for style.
