By India Today Web Desk: Two Black teens were allegedly attacked by a group of white men for swimming in a “whites-only” pool in South Africa, according to a video shared by the boys’ sister. The police are probing the alleged Christmas-day assault at the Maselspoort Resort in South Africa.

According to the country’s news outlet – News24, a group of white men tried to keep the boys, 18 and 13, from using the resort’s swimming pool. The police were called to the resort on December 25 over an altercation, Brigadier Motantsi Makhele, a police spokesperson, said.

The attackers had left by the time the police arrived.

In the video of the alleged racially-motivated assault, a white man is seen slapping the 13-year-old boy, throwing him back into the pool as he tries to stand up. The man then appears to try and choke the brother, 18.

Another man is seen tugging the younger boy’s hair. One is seen pushing one of the boys into the pool while trying to keep his head underwater. Towards the end, a man is seen dragging the older teen’s head into the water.

“Family came to spend the day at Maselspoort Resort and Conference Centre in Free State,” tweeted the boys’ sister. “My brothers were attacked by these grown men because they are apparently not allowed in the pool as it’s reserved for the ‘white people’ here.”
