WATCH | Huracán Sterrato – Lamborghini takes its latest supercar off-roading
Italian automaker Lamborghini goes off the road into the dirt with its recently unveiled Huracán Sterrato.
Lamborghini CEO and chairman Stephan Winkelmann said the car is easy to drive on the racetrack and also on the beaten road. It’s 5.2-litre V10 engine develops 449kW at 8000rpm, with 560Nm. It has a claimed top speed of 260km/h and goes from zero to 100km/h in 3.4seconds.

He added:
It’s a car which is very much fitting into our environment, because the situation of the infrastructure… is not the best one when it comes to the streets.
The starting price for the Huracán Sterrato is $270 000 (an esitmated equivalent of R4 669 042) and only 1 499 units were manufactured for the global market.
