Eminent artist, J. P. Clark, passes on at 85

Eminent artist and emeritus Professor of Literature, John Pepper Clark, is dead.

The Professor kicked the bucket in the extremely early times of Tuesday, an announcement by the family said.

He hailed from Kiagbodo, Burutu gathering region of Delta state.

The announcement was marked by Prof. C. C. Clark for the family and Ilaye Clark, for the youngsters.

“The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo group of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to report that Emeritus Professor of Literature and Renowned Writer, Prof. John Pepper Clark, has at last dropped his pen in the early long periods of today, Tuesday, 13 October, 2020.

“Prof. J. P. Clark has rowed on to the extraordinary past in solace of his significant other, kids and kin, around him.

“The family values your petitions right now. Different subtleties will be declared later by the family,” the announcement peruses.

J. P. Clark was a more youthful sibling to senior legislator and Ijaw public pioneer, Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark.
