HON. EMBELEAKPO SET TO COMMENCE TROFANI WATER PROJECT

Arrangements have been kick-started to resuscitate the central water supply system in Trofani Community of Sagbama Local Government Area, with work expected to commence tomorrow, Friday 18th of September, 2020.

This declaration was made by The Executive Chairman of Sagbama Local Government Council, Hon. Embeleakpo Alale on Thursday, while embarking on a NEEDS Assessment Tour of communites to identify viable projects that will positively impact the lives of the people.

Hon. Embeleakpo also directed the drilling of additional two(2) boreholes to ensure adequate water supply in Trofani community, with a stern directive that the projects be completed within a stipulated period of two weeks.

The Council Chairman also paid a courtesy visit on the Ebedauowei of Kabowei Kingdom, HRH Engr. Aserifa Hope Torru, at Trofani community, as a mark of respect.
The traditional ruler who applauded Hon. Embeleakpo for his numerous laudable projects across communities within one year of his tenure, stressed that the successful execution of the proposed projects will enable provision of potable drinking water, thereby preventing the outbreak of water borne diseases in the area.

The LG boss was accompanied on the visit by The Deputy Leader of the 10th Sagbama Legislative Assembly Hon. Paul Ebikeseiye who doubles as the Councillor Representing Sagbama Ward 13, and The Councillor Representing Ward 9 Hon. Joy Salo Arimiekumo, among other members of his entourage.
