Ondo INEC office ablaze, more than 5000 card readers decimated
The Ondo State office of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC is at present ablaze.
The fire episode which began around 8:45pm at the ICT unit of the commission is yet to be contained as at press time.
More than 5000 card perusers have been decimated in the inferno.
With the reason for the episode obscure, men of the fire service are yet to show up at the scene.
The Ondo State fire service is under 500 meters from the commission.
The commission is arranged in Alagbaka territory of Akure, the state capital.
Governorship political decision in the state had been booked for October 10, 2020.
