Tanzania’s president ready to amend media laws

In tonight’s edition: Tanzania says that it want’s to work on media freedoms to develop the industry. The position is in stark contrast to that of the administration of the late president John Magufuli. Nigeria’s northwest region is struggling to respond to a spike in insecurity. There schools have increasingly been targeted by bandits who kidnap pupils for ransom. Tunisia’s seen a spike in coronavirus cases and brought in new restrictions.. But the timing is particulalrly hard on many of those observing the month of Ramadan.
