110 BENEFICIARIES FROM SAGBAMA / EKEREMOR RECEIVED SKILL ACQUISITION TRAINING AND EMPOWERMENT FROM FRED AGBEDI’S INTERVENTION PROGRAM.

The Federal Lawmaker representing the Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Fred Agbedi, Ph.D, recently organized an empowering training program in Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, aimed at fostering skill development for 110 beneficiaries in his constituency.

The training covered various essential skills, including soap, perfume, pomade, and paint making. Participants were provided with the necessary raw materials, and starter packs were to ensure they could learn properly and produce effectively with high-quality outputs.

His Excellency, Sen. Duoye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State, emphasized the importance of the initiative, encouraging beneficiaries to seize the opportunity to acquire valuable skills that could enable them become financial providers for their families. The Governor’s message was delivered by the commissioner for special duties West, Hon. Chief Michael Magbisa who expressed gratitude to Rt. Hon. Fred Agbedi for consistently bringing positive initiatives to his constituents.

Dr Osifoh Ozoya Austin, the guest lecturer at the event, along with Comrade Jacob Nathaniel, the chief procurement officer representing NBRDA, highlighted the significance of the skill acquisition and self-reliance program. They urged participants to appreciate the valuable efforts of their federal representative by making judicious use of the items given to them.

Several beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt thanks to Fred Agbedi during the program, praising him for honouring his campaign promises and for implementing developmental activities that enhance productivity in the local labour market.

Hon. Fred Agbedi reaffirmed his dedication and commitment to formulating people-oriented policies and attracting meaningful programs and projects that benefit the livelihoods of his constituents. He encouraged those who have not yet received support from him to remain optimistic about future opportunities.
